Introduction
Global Action for Women Empowerment (GLOWA), a registered non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Sokode Lokoe near Ho in the Volta region of Ghana, welcomes individuals to volunteer with us. By applying to volunteer with GLOWA, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Definitions
– “Volunteer” refers to an individual who applies to and is accepted by GLOWA to participate in volunteer work.
– “Program” refers to the volunteer program or project organized by GLOWA.
– “GLOWA” refers to the organization, its employees, agents, and affiliates.

Volunteer Responsibilities
1. Application and Screening: Volunteers must submit a complete application, including all required information and documentation. GLOWA reserves the right to conduct background checks and screening processes.
2. Program Participation: Volunteers must participate in the program as assigned and follow the instructions of GLOWA staff and supervisors.
3. Code of Conduct: Volunteers must adhere to GLOWA’s Code of Conduct, which includes respecting local customs, laws, and traditions.
4. Confidentiality: Volunteers must maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information shared during the program.

GLOWA Responsibilities
1. Program Organization: GLOWA will organize and manage the program, including providing necessary training and supervision.
2. Safety and Security: GLOWA will take reasonable measures to ensure the safety and security of volunteers during the program.
3. Support: GLOWA will provide necessary support and guidance to volunteers throughout the program.

Liability and Indemnification
1. Volunteer Liability: Volunteers are liable for any damages or losses caused during the program.
2. GLOWA Indemnification: GLOWA will indemnify volunteers against any claims or liabilities arising from the program, except to the extent caused by the volunteer’s gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Termination
GLOWA reserves the right to terminate a volunteer’s participation in the program at any time, with or without cause.

Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana.

Changes to Terms and Conditions
GLOWA reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Volunteers will be notified of any changes.

Acceptance
By applying to volunteer with GLOWA, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
