Global Action for Women Empowerment (GLOWA) as a non-governmental, non-partisan and non -profit making organization was formed in June 1999 in response to the health and socio-economic challenges of women, girls, youth and children in Ghana.

Our Vision

GLOWA envisions an inclusive society where women and girls are well-informed, empowered, healthy, economically independent, and free from sexual violence and other forms of marginalization.

Our Mission

GLOWA exists to create a just and equitable environment by empowering women and girls through education, advocacy, and support services that promote health, rights, economic independence, and safety, while actively challenging all forms of sexual and gender-based violence and marginalization.
